Avalon Independent School District is a public school district based in the community of Avalon, Texas (USA).
In 2009, the school district was rated "recognized" by the Texas Education Agency.[1]
Avalon has junior high a junior varsity and varsity basketball teams and many other sports like track baseball football and volleyball. It is a very small school with only one class for each grade. There are two buildings; one Elementary and The High school.
